Nepali calendar is approximately 56 years and 8 months ahead of the English calendar known as Gregorian calendar(A.D.). In Nepali calendar, the new year usually falls in the middle of April. In Gregorian calendar, there seems to have fixed number of days in a month but in case of Nepali calendar the days vary from 29 to 32 and changes from year to year.
